SENATE ALABAMA
Club for Growth Action is set to run a television ad opposing Rep. Bradley Byrne’s (R-AL) 2020 U.S. Senate candidacy. The ad will first run on TV during the Alabama-Auburn game this Saturday in the Mobile media market (Byrne’s House district) and subsequently run in the same market on Fox News Channel for a week. The Republican Main Street Partnership, a moderate Republican group, endorsed seven congressional candidates this week. According to a press release, the group plans to support Kate Gibbs in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional district, Kathy Landing in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional district, Nicole Malliotakis in New York’s 11th Congressional district, Floyd McLendon in Texas’ 32nd Congressional district, Maria Elvira Salazar in Florida’s 27th Congressional district, Sara Hart Weir in Kansas’ 3rd Congressional district, and former Rep.
