POLL: This week’s national Morning Consult poll of Democratic primary voters found former Vice President Joe Biden (D-DE) leading the field for President with support from 33% of those polled. He is followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) (21%), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) (15%), Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D-IN) (9%), and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) (5%). (Morning Consult, 11/26/19)

POLL: A new poll of nationwide Democratic voters from Quinnipiac shows Biden leading the field with support from 24% of those polled followed by Buttigieg (16%), Warren (14%), Sanders (13%), and Harris (3%). (Quinnipiac, 11/26/19)

SENATE ALABAMA

Club for Growth Action is set to run a television ad opposing Rep. Bradley Byrne’s (R-AL) 2020 U.S. Senate candidacy. The ad will first run on TV during the Alabama-Auburn game this Saturday in the Mobile media market (Byrne’s House district) and subsequently run in the same market on Fox News Channel for a week. SENATE GEORGIA

The Wall Street Journal: “Georgia Governor, Trump Appear At Odds Over Senate Pick” (The Wall Street Journal, 11/26/19)


HOUSE NATIONAL

The Republican Main Street Partnership, a moderate Republican group, endorsed seven congressional candidates this week. According to a press release, the group plans to support Kate Gibbs in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional district, Kathy Landing in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional district, Nicole Malliotakis in New York’s 11th Congressional district, Floyd McLendon in Texas’ 32nd Congressional district, Maria Elvira Salazar in Florida’s 27th Congressional district, Sara Hart Weir in Kansas’ 3rd Congressional district, and former Rep. David Young in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional district. (The Washington Times, 11/26/19)

Winning for Women, a nonprofit political group that supports Republican women, announced it is backing 13 House candidates in its initial round of 2020 endorsements. (Roll Call, 11/27/19)
