POLL: This week’s national Morning Consult poll of Democratic primary voters found former Vice President Joe Biden (D-DE) leading the field for President with support from 32% of those polled. He is followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) (20%), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) (17%), Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D-IN) (8%), and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) (5%). (Morning Consult, 11/19/19)

POLL: A new poll of nationwide Democratic voters from The Hill/HarrisX shows Biden leading the field with support from 30% of those polled followed by Sanders (18%), Warren (15%), Buttigieg (7%), and Harris (4%). (The Hill, 11/18/19)

SENATE NATIONAL

In October, the NRSC raised $6.7 million and ended the month with $15 million in cash on hand. The DSCC, meanwhile, raised $5.4 million and has $17.4 million in cash on hand. The DSCC also has $9.9 million in debts. (Politico, 11/20/19)

SENATE MAINE

Majority Forward, a dark money group aligned with Senate Democratic leadership, is launching a six-figure ad campaign in Maine attacking Republican Sen. Susan Collins for not holding town hall meetings and for past votes on budget resolutions and cuts in Medicare spending. (Politico, 11/21/19)

SENATE NEW MEXICO

Elisa Martinez (R-NM), founder of New Mexico Alliance for Life and member of the Navajo Nation, announced that she is running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Tom Udall (D-NM). (Taos News, 11/21/19)


HOUSE NATIONAL

In October, the DCCC outraised the NRCC, bringing in $12.2 million and ending the month with over $15 million on hand. The NRCC raised $10 million and has $28.3 million on hand. (Politico, 11/21/19)


SENATE CALIFORNIA

CA-25: Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) set the date for the special election to decide who will replace former Rep. Katie Hill (D); The special election will take place March 3, and if no candidate wins the majority, then a runoff will be held on May 12. (The Hill, 11/15/19)


HOUSE GEORGIA

GA-06: Former Rep. Karen Handel (R-GA) was endorsed by Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA) in her comeback attempt for Georgia’s 6th District. (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 11/19/19)

HOUSE ILLINOIS

IL-03: An internal document for Rep. Dan Lipinski’s (D-IL) primary campaign, obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times, proposed pitching Republicans by highlighting his vote against Obamacare while wooing independents by reminding them he opposed its repeal. (Chicago Sun-Times, 11/18/19)


HOUSE MICHIGAN

MI-03: Hillary Scholten, a Democratic Grand Rapids attorney who’s seeking to oppose Rep. Justin Amash, was endorsed by EMILY’s List and three former Michigan Democratic Party chairmen. (Detroit News, 11/21/19)

MI-08: Two more Republicans filed this week to run against Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin for the 8th District seat, bringing the tally of GOP challengers to four. HOUSE NEW YORK

NY-02: A new Club for Growth PAC poll conducted by WPA Intelligence shows President Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, leading the GOP primary in a hypothetical matchup to replace retiring Rep. Peter King (R-NY). (Breitbart, 11/21/19)

HOUSE NORTH CAROLINA

A three-judge panel hearing a case challenging North Carolina’s congressional map issued an order on Wednesday freezing the filing period for House candidates, which was set to begin on Dec. 2. The judges are expected to hear arguments from both parties on Dec. 2 about the new congressional map passed last week by North Carolina’s GOP-controlled state legislature. (Politico, 11/20/19)

VA-07: Republican John McGuire, a former Navy SEAL who just won a second term as a state lawmaker, announced that he will run for his party’s nomination to challenge Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) in 2020. (The Washington Post, 11/18/19)
