Voters in Florida and Arizona picked candidates in key races up and down the ballot Tuesday night. While the primaries for Senate in Florida were a bit of a formality, Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) and Gov. Rick Scott (R-FL) faced little to no opposition, the governor’s race provided one of the biggest surprises of the night, if not the midterms.
In Arizona, Republican voters finally decided on a candidate to take on Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) in the general election. Their choice? The first U.S. female fighter pilot to fly in combat.
