This week, all eyes will be on the Democratic presidential debates Wednesday and Thursday nights but they aren’t the only events happening. The House plans to vote on a package of bills to fund a number of government departments including Commerce, Justice and Veterans Affairs and the Senate will vote to proceed on the National Defense Authorization Act. On Monday, President Trump will sign an executive order on “improving price and quality transparency in health care.” Tuesday, he will present the Medal of Honor to former Army Staff Sgt. David G. Bellavia and Wednesday, he will give a speech to an evangelical audience at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority Policy Conference.” The President will leave for Osaka, Japan on Thursday for the two-day G20 summit.
